Souper Saver: My Favorite Meal Prep Hack for Cozy Nights
Is anyone else totally excited for ‘cozy mode’ because I know that I am! I love finding freezer-friendly meals that taste great and make mealtime a breeze. When the weather cools down and soup season officially begins, I go straight into comfort-mode and that is always somewhat associated with making soups.
Making soup is one of the easiest things that you can make in your kitchen. And, with a little bit of prep, you can have everything ready to heat up for a cozy evening. One of my favorite kitchen hacks lately has been using my Souper Saver silicone molds to freeze soups in perfectly sized portions.

You then will pour or scoop the soup into these flexible silicone molds and then put them in your freezer.
Once the cubes are frozen, you can pop out the frozen cubes and store them in a large freezer baggie and then use them as needed.
You can retrieve the portions by cube size to reheat. I like to mark the bag like this so that I remember what the cube is and note how long it has been in my freezer.
With this method in place, there is no need to scramble for dinner or rely on overpriced takeout.
This little trick will help you save money, cut down on food waste and great for meal prep. Speaking of meal prep, you can freeze more than just soups. You can try homemade marinara, chicken verde or try ingredients to blend a delicious smoothie. Basically, the sky is the limit with this way of meal prepping. It is so satisfying to pull out a single block on a busy weeknight, heat it up, and have a hot, homemade dinner on the table in minutes.
This method of meal planning and prepping is great for anyone who likes efficiency, easy dinner ideas and good food. The Souper Saver is a total game-changer.
