As the weather cools down, I always find myself reaching for pieces that balance comfort, structure, and color. This winter, my Outfit of the Day OOTD moments have been all about comfort and color.
In this roundup, you will see corduroy, knits, and layers you can dress up or enjoy as lounge wear.Here are a few of my current favorites from Boden and Antonio Melani that have been constant staples in my wardrobe this season.

The Berry Corduroy Dress — Boden
This berry-colored one from Boden caught my eye immediately. The color is rich, cheerful, and surprisingly versatile. The corduroy is very small making the dress warm and very soft. I like to wear this dress with boots for a weekend brunch, and it transitions seamlessly into a cozy office look as well. The most eye-catching thing about this dress is the gorgeous color and the beautiful zipper on the front of the dress.

Boden is one of my favorite places to shop for a casual yet stylish dress. I have gotten several of their dresses and they never disappoint. I’m drawn to classic silhouettes, and this navy knit dress with tan trim has become one of those effortless go-tos. The subtle contrast detailing gives this dress a modern, put-together look without much effort. This is a great dress to reach for on those “I have nothing to wear” days, because it always works. Pair this with some boots or I have even worn it with a pair of really cute sneakers from Anthropologie. Either way, this is a great one if you are looking for a knit dress.

I paused a moment before purchasing this coat, because it is mustard yellow. But, I thought it was so cute, so I went ahead and purchased it. The good news for me, is that I have been pleasantly surprised at how many things from my wardrobe actually look great with this coat. A good coat can make even the simplest outfit feel styled. This mustard Antonio Melani coat is mustard yellow with hints of light purple in the piping. And here is the thing, everytime I have worn it out, I have gotten compliments on it. Sure, it is a notable color, but it works! The color combo is unexpected but surprisingly wearable. I love pairing it with neutrals for contrast, but I adore wearing it with my orchid knit set for a tone-on-tone look.
The Orchid Knit Set — Antonio Melani
One of my favorite things to wear this season has been knit sets. This set from Antonio Melani is so soft and comfortable while also looking great. I wore this outfit to meet with friends and celebrate my birthday over lunch. I felt so pretty in this shade of pink, it is called, ‘orchid’. This is an outfit that is cozy yet elevated, with just enough structure to feel dressy. The best part? It perfectly complements the mustard coat, making the pairing an easy statement look for winter days when I want to stay chic and warm.
The Holiday Sweater — Antonio Melani
One of the most fun ways to feel festive at this time of year is by wearing a Christmas Sweater. This sweater is also by Antonio Melani, and I got it at Dillards. I enjoy the color combination and this is a top that you can wear with a cream colored pant or with a trendy yet beautiful silk skirt. This Christmas sweater from Antonio Melani is playful without being over-the-top.
